Case Studies
Each project is about finding that sweet spot—where design strategy meets the client’s vision and sets the foundation for a strong, authentic brand. The goal? Simple, effective solutions that connect with the right audience and make an impact. Even from right here in Whangamata!

Whangamata Ratepayers Association
While the Association had recently updated its logo, the visual identity lacked the strategic clarity needed to truly resonate with its wider audience. Our refinement focused on creating a brand that felt more unified, purpose-driven, and approachable — better reflecting the organisation’s role as a trusted voice for the community. The result is a stronger, more recognisable identity that can grow with the Association’s work and advocacy.

Whangamata Ratepayers Association
The original site contained valuable content but lacked visual clarity and logical structure. I redesigned the website to align with the refreshed brand, improving layout, readability, and overall user experience. The updated site makes it easier for members and the wider community to access information, stay informed, and engage with the Association’s work.

Wild Essence
A few technical updates evolved into a full website refresh for this local Whangamata florist - modernising the design and streamlining the purchasing process. New features encouraged add-on sales and improved checkout and fulfilment. A cohesive brand identity was also developed using existing visual elements.

A sheet of labels with a new logo and contact details was created, to attach to ready-made bunches of flowers at the supermarket.
Kea Financial Services
A new business launch called for a fresh brand identity and supporting marketing materials, including a website, email newsletter, and business cards. Xero was selected for system setup due to its user-friendly interface and seamless integration with the IRD and the accountant’s platform.

Holly Day - Boutique Swimwear
Holly Day was a pre-Covid e-commerce venture selling resort wear to travellers. The project included developing the brand identity—from naming to full e-commerce integration—along with marketing collateral and social media setup, which received positive feedback.
