✨ Deliverables
To work our magic, we’ll need your help too. You agree to provide all necessary content—text, images, branding assets, and anything else we ask for—in the right format and on time. You also agree to review our work, give feedback, and approve things promptly.
Deadlines go both ways: we’ll commit to our timelines, but we can’t be responsible for delays if materials or approvals are late on your end. We promise to deliver our work professionally and on time—and to keep any business info you share with us safe and confidential.
🔐 Intellectual Property
We trust that any content you provide—whether it’s images, text, or logos—is yours to use or you have permission to use it.
Once your final payment is made:
You own the graphics and visuals we create for you.
You own all content you’ve supplied (unless someone else owns it).
You only own your selected concept and working files. Unused concepts and drafts remain our property.
We love showcasing our work! Unless you say otherwise, we may share your project on our website or social media after it’s officially launched. Just let us know if you’d prefer us not to.
🎨 Design
We’re confident you’ll love what we create. But if for any reason you’re not happy, you’ll still be required to pay for the work completed up to that point. You can either end the project or continue working with us at our agreed hourly rate for any further revisions.
🔄 Changes & Revisions
We’re flexible—creative work often evolves. Your quote covers the scope we originally agreed on. If you want to add new features, pages, or pivot a bit (hey, it happens), we’re happy to adapt! If those requests fall outside the original scope, additional time will be billed at our standard hourly rate.
📎 Liability
We do our best to deliver pixel-perfect, typo-free work—but hey, we’re human. Please proof your work carefully before it goes live or to print. Final approval must be in writing. We can’t be liable for errors or losses due to missed typos, incorrect content, or post-approval oversights.
For brand projects: you're responsible for ensuring your chosen business name isn’t already taken or trademarked.
For packaging: it’s your responsibility to ensure all labeling meets legal requirements.
For websites: you'll get a testing period to ensure everything functions as agreed. If something’s off, let us know within 20 business days. After that, we’ll consider it final. Any changes beyond this point are treated as new work and billed accordingly.
🤝 Subcontracting
Sometimes we team up with trusted creative partners to keep things running smoothly. These folks are pros, vetted by us, and share our commitment to quality and confidentiality. Only our lead team (a.k.a. the directors) can make official agreements on behalf of the business.
💰 Payments
To lock in your spot and get started, we require a 50% deposit upfront. The balance is due within 30 days of invoicing. If payment is late by more than 14 days, a 5% late fee will be added—and applied again every 7 days until payment is received.
We’re a small business too, so timely payments help keep our wheels turning.
❌ Cancellation
If either of us isn’t sticking to these terms, the project can be cancelled with 14 days’ notice, unless the issue is resolved in that time.
If you decide to walk away (no hard feelings, but we’ll miss you), you’ll be invoiced for all completed hours and any expenses we can’t recover. Deposits and payments made in advance are non-refundable.
⏰ Office Hours
We’re available:
Monday to Friday – 8:30am to 4:30pm NZT
Emails outside of hours are always welcome—we’ll respond when we’re back at our desks, wand in hand.
